During the winter holidays of primary schools Mon 26.2.- Fri 1.3.2024, local transport in the Kotka region will run according to the timetables of the school holidays. That is, services marked “Koulupäivinä” or “koulp.” will not be operated, other services will be operated as usual, as well as services that are specifically marked to be operated during school holidays.

Details of the effects of the winter holiday week by municipality:
Kotka
Routes has normal weekday timetable on all lines, except when marked “koulp.” or “Koulupäivinä” are not operated:
Line 2: no service from Kaukola at 7.23 am.
Lines 6, 6K, 8 and 13: morning services marked “koulp.” are not operated.
Lines 15 and 20: afternoon services marked “Koulupäivinä” are not operated.
Traffic between Kotka and Hamina:
– line 1: no onward connections in Hamina to Alakaupunki
– no services on lines 1M and 99
On the Kotka-Pyhtää route, there is a service:
– line 93 6:15 from Pyhtää to Kotka
– line P089 8:15 from Huutjärvi to Kotka
– line P089 17:00 from Kotka to Pyhtää.

Hamina
There is no service on the Kotka-Hamina route with lines 99 and 1M. There are no connections of line 1 in Hamina to Alakaupunki.
Within Hamina, there is a service on lines P070-P083, according to the timetable of school holidays.
There are no school day services, these are lines 74, 74M, P074M, 75, 77, 78 and 79.
Pyhtää
On the Pyhtää-Kotka route, there will be a 6:15 service on line 93 from Pyhtää kirkonkylä to Kotka and a 8:15 service on line P089 from Huutjärvi to Kotka and a 17:00 service from Kotka to Pyhtää. Other Kotka-Pyhtää services are only operated on school days.
On Friday 1 March, the internal Pyhtää service will be operated by bus P090 between Kirkonkylä and Huutjärvi in Pyhtää and by bus P088 between Huutjärvi and Hirvikoski. Other internal Pyhtää services will be operated only on school days.
